"The Magnificent Seven," "The Great Escape," "The Thomas Crown Affair," "Bullitt," "Le Mans," "The Getaway," "Papillon," "The Towering Inferno" – Steve McQueen, the solitary superstar who rewrote film history with numerous masterpieces. This book explores the appeal of this unique star, who still boasts overwhelming popularity, through his movie posters and their artwork. It features over 800 items in total!

This year marks the 55th anniversary of "Le Mans" (1971), McQueen's masterpiece racing film for which he risked his career. This book dedicates 20 pages to posters, lobby cards, promotional stills, and press books from various countries.

Born in 1973. Entered the film industry during university, worked for film distribution companies and advertising agencies, and is currently involved in the distribution of foreign films. Alongside his work, he is also active as a film poster collector. He collects not only Japanese versions but also original versions from various countries, building a network with dealers and collectors primarily in America and Europe. He introduces the appeal of posters, which are the "face" of film promotion, in various media.
