On July 14, at Vantelin Dome Nagoya, the Hanshin Tigers faced off against the Chunichi Dragons. In the first inning, Morioka Shota, currently ranked 1st and 2nd in the Central League home run race, hit his 23rd solo homer, followed immediately by Sato Terao's 19th solo shot, giving Hanshin an early 2-0 lead. Chunichi narrowed the gap in the bottom of the 4th inning with Muramatsu Hirato's 5th solo homer. However, in the top of the 8th, Sato Terao launched his second home run of the day—a 20th 3-run homer into the back screen—extending Hanshin's lead to 4 runs. Although Chunichi responded with a sacrifice fly by Ishii Yuta in the bottom of the 8th, their rally ended there. Closer Doulis shut down the 9th inning without allowing a run, securing a 5-2 victory for Hanshin.

Then, in the top of the 8th, the Hanshin batters responded in kind. Watching from the broadcast booth, I couldn't help but feel deeply moved.

Commentators Okada and Kano shared behind-the-scenes stories, strategic insights, and pitching analysis from multiple angles, often with humor, making the three-and-a-half-hour broadcast fly by.
