Session Overview:

This session will feature presentations and discussions by three regional companies on how they have embraced change and driven business transformation amid rapidly evolving social conditions, such as the pandemic and advances in AI. Building on decades of expertise in "rice bran science," our company has expanded beyond rice bran oil into food ingredients, cosmetic raw materials, and pharmaceutical raw materials. During the session, we will share our journey of business growth in response to changing times and our R&D initiatives that have created new value by exploring the potential of rice bran.

After graduating from Tsuda University, Fumi Tsuno joined Tsuno Food Industry, founded by her father, Masaji Tsuno. Inspired by rice bran—a traditional symbol of health and beauty—she has advanced beyond manufacturing rice bran oil to promote high-value utilization of rice bran and expand into overseas markets. Believing that passion and persistent effort allow one's intentions to reach others and gain their support, she has led the company with determination. As a mother of two daughters, she deeply values the happiness of employees and their families.

Exhibition Booth: Showcasing Rice Bran Oil and the Inner-Care Supplement 'Maruino'

At the exhibition booth, we will present the possibilities of rice bran—from cooking oil to inner-care solutions—by leveraging the technologies and insights cultivated through decades of 'rice bran science.' Through product displays, we aim to showcase the new value of rice bran and our R&D efforts, while creating opportunities for new business collaborations and co-creation.
