In its revival screening project, Filmarks, one of Japan's largest review services for movies, dramas, and anime, has decided to hold a nationwide revival screening of "Kamome Diner" for a limited two weeks starting April 10th (Fri) to commemorate its 20th anniversary of theatrical release.

We are pleased to announce the visitor giveaway! For visitors of "Kamome Diner," a reproduced name tag will be presented on a first-come, first-served, limited-quantity basis. This name tag is an item that was included with the pamphlet, which became a big topic of conversation at the time of its release in 2006, and has been reproduced as faithfully as possible to its original state for this revival screening. "Kamome Diner" is a heartwarming drama depicting the peaceful daily interactions between Sachie, a Japanese woman running a small diner on a street corner in Helsinki, Finland, and the unique customers who visit her shop. The signature dish of "Kamome Diner," started by Sachie in the foreign land of Finland, was simple onigiri (rice balls). In the early days of opening, there were quiet days with few customers. Yet, by chance encounters, slightly unusual and warm people begin to gather around Sachie, who continues to run the shop at her own pace──.

It's a daily life where no major incidents occur; the accumulation of meals, conversations, and casual moments gently unfolds the heart. The visuals, enveloped in the soft light and air of Northern Europe, and the gentle ensemble of unique characters continue to be loved by many fans to this day.

The screening will be held for a limited <2 weeks> from April 10th (Fri), 2026. On this occasion, marking the 20th anniversary of its release, please enjoy the gentle time depicted in "Kamome Diner" on the theater screen!
