Announcement of the Release of New Pachinko Machine 'SMART-PACHINKO GANTZ'

Fields Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hisatoshi Yoshida), a consolidated subsidiary of Tsuburaya Fields Holdings Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hidetoshi Yamamoto), announces the release of the new pachinko machine 'SMART-PACHINKO GANTZ'.

This model will be introduced as a smart pachinko machine (Smart Pachi).

About 'GANTZ'

'GANTZ' is a popular manga series created by Hiroaki Oku, serialized in Weekly Young Jump (published by Shueisha) from 2000 to 2013. The total circulation of the manga exceeds 26 million copies as of February 2024.

Work Highlights: A sci-fi action series in which characters presumed dead awaken in an unfamiliar apartment room and are given special suits and weapons by a mysterious black sphere called 'GANTZ', forcing them to battle enigmatic alien beings. The series is acclaimed for its original world-building, intense and suspenseful action sequences, dramatic portrayals of moral dilemmas and inner conflicts among diverse characters, and its profound exploration of life and death.

Multimedia Expansion: The franchise has expanded into novels, anime, and video games. In 2011, a live-action film featuring a star-studded cast generated significant buzz. In October 2016, the full 3DCG animated film 'GANTZ:O' was released, followed by the stage production 'GANTZ:L' -ACT & ACTION STAGE- in January 2018, establishing 'GANTZ' as a major multimedia franchise with a dedicated fanbase.

Spin-off Series: Currently, the spin-off manga 'GANTZ:E' is being serialized in Weekly Young Jump.

Rollout Schedule

The machine is scheduled to be available at pachinko parlors nationwide from October 2026, targeting not only pachinko and slot machine enthusiasts but also fans of manga and anime.
