Trustyyle Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yosuke Yoshida), which operates the 'HR Library' community for HR professionals, will launch a new project under its 'Recruitment Library' service: the 'Recruitment x AI Study Group: Let's Build an ATS with Claude Code,' starting April 6, 2026.
This study group is exclusive to HR Library members and will be held online every Monday through Thursday at midday. The program is designed to allow participants to continue learning at their own pace, tailored to their specific work needs and skill levels.
Background and Purpose of the Event In the field of recruitment, many professionals face challenges such as 'work becoming overly dependent on specific individuals,' 'not knowing how other companies handle tasks,' or 'lacking the budget or organizational structure to implement new tools.' The 'Recruitment Library' provided by the HR Library was established as a practical support service to address these on-the-ground issues.
The new 'Recruitment x AI Study Group' takes this philosophy a step further, aiming not just to 'know' AI, but to 'implement it into actual work while getting hands-on experience.'
In the first phase, participants will use Claude Code to attempt to build a minimal prototype of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). A minimal ATS prototype can be created in a short time, and through subsequent adjustments, it is possible to gradually add the features necessary for one's own company. Furthermore, the program envisions applications across various areas of recruitment, such as drafting scout messages, scheduling interviews, and automating or systematizing recruitment tasks.
For those working in 'solo HR' roles or small teams, AI can be more than just a 'replacement for work'; it can be a 'partner that helps move practical tasks forward.' In this study group, both the organizers and participants will explore ways to use AI in real-world settings through trial and error.
Features of This Initiative 1. A continuous learning space accessible by becoming a member This study group is not a one-time event but a practical, ongoing program exclusive to HR Library members. Because you can participate on the days you want to learn, even busy recruiters can continue without feeling overwhelmed.
2. AI learning focused on implementation, not just theory Participants will use Claude Code to build an ATS while working hands-on. Since you can learn to use AI as an extension of your daily work, the content is accessible even to those who think, 'I'm interested, but it seems difficult and I don't know where to start.'
3. A community environment that deepens learning and connects to practice HR Library is a place for learning and networking for 'everyone facing human and organizational issues.' Members connect both in-person and online to share what they have learned and discuss practical challenges on a daily basis. Additionally, with a collection of approximately 3,000 books, members can use the insights gained from the study group as a starting point to delve deeper into topics they wish to explore further.

Recommended for: - Those who want to try building an app with Claude - Those who are not in a position to introduce HR SaaS but want to set up some kind of management system - Those who want to automate or streamline recruitment tasks as much as possible - Those who can research and engage in trial and error on their own - Those struggling in solo HR roles or small recruitment teams
From the Facilitator (Community Manager Mαi) We will start by building an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), but it is unknown how long it will take. I want to decide what to build next by exchanging ideas with all of you. The organizers are both nervous and excited about the 'almost daily' schedule, but I would be happy if we could make this a place where we can have fun testing things out and applying them to actual recruitment work.
