Toravision Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Representative Director: Mamoru Masumoto) has begun sales and implementation support for the large logistics drone "DJI FlyCart 100" manufactured by DJI, starting March 23, 2026. Toravision is engaged in the drone route maintenance business, and through this new offering, will further strengthen its comprehensive support system, covering everything from drone delivery route design, flight risk assessment, aircraft introduction, to operational design. The DJI FlyCart 100 boasts high-output performance with a maximum payload capacity of 80kg. In practical operations, its dual-battery configuration stably enables the transport of heavy loads weighing approximately 65kg, making drone logistics capable of handling weights beyond conventional limits.
Background: Increasing Situations Difficult to Resolve with Ground Transportation Alone In areas such as mountainous regions, remote islands, disaster sites, and steep slopes, rapid material transport can be challenging using only conventional vehicles or vessels. Toravision has accumulated on-site knowledge for the social implementation of logistics drones through its handling of the DJI FlyCart 30, contracting services for heavy load transport, supporting the transport of supplies and communication equipment in disaster prevention drills, and assisting in the aerial transport of forestry materials. The commencement of support for the DJI FlyCart 100 is an initiative to extend this expertise to the operation of larger aircraft.
Deployment during the Fukuoka Prefecture Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill (Tagawa City in 2024, Kasuga/Onojo/Nakagawa City in 2025, planned for Kurume/Ukiha City joint in 2026)
About the DJI FlyCart 100 The DJI FlyCart 100 is DJI's latest (as of March 29, 2026) large logistics drone announced for the global market. It is positioned as a next-generation aircraft with higher transport capacity (up to 80kg) and enhanced safety, according to official announcements. It is equipped with high-precision radar, multiple vision sensors, and a parachute. It features waterproof and dustproof capabilities, an operating temperature range from -20 to 40 degrees Celsius, a maximum wind resistance of 12 meters per second, and a maximum flight altitude of 6000 meters. Additionally, under a 149.9kg condition, its maximum flight distance is 12km with a dual-battery configuration and 6km with a single-battery configuration. The DJI FlyCart 100 also features a new winch system that supports automatic and manual release and retraction. It is expected to be utilized in scenarios with limitations in ground transportation, such as mountainous areas, remote islands, disaster response, and infrastructure maintenance, where heavy load transport is required.
