Triumph Motorcycles Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yosuke Oinuma) announces the arrival of the Speed Twin 1200 TFC, the fifth chapter of the TRIUMPH FACTORY CUSTOM series, limited to just 750 units globally.

Produced exclusively as a Triumph Factory Custom (TFC) model, only 750 units will be made worldwide, making it an exceptionally rare limited edition.

Premium components such as Öhlins front and rear suspension, clip-on handlebars, and Brembo brakes deliver sharper handling and precise control.

Carbon fiber bodywork, exclusive TFC details, and an Akrapovič titanium exhaust silencer further enhance the authentic Bonneville character unique to the Speed Twin.

The new Speed Twin 1200 TFC, arriving as a 2027 model, is the fifth model to bear the Triumph Factory Custom (TFC) name. Combining bespoke British craftsmanship with performance-enhancing premium components, it elevates the Speed Twin 1200 RS into an even more exceptional machine.

Production is limited to 750 units worldwide. Features include carbon fiber bodywork, a dedicated TFC badge, machined bar-end mirrors, a bench seat combining leather and suede, a gold chain, gold-finished inner tubes, and a cohesive blacked-out finish. The exclusive 'Obsidian Gold' paintwork subtly shifts in appearance depending on the light. Each unit comes with an individual serial number and a Certificate of Authenticity.

For dynamic performance, the clip-on handlebars provide a sporty riding position, paired with fully adjustable Öhlins front and rear suspension. High-quality chassis components enhance responsiveness, road feel, and control precision, while the Akrapovič titanium silencer delivers a richer, more intense Triumph signature sound.

The engine is a torque-rich, characterful 1200cc Bonneville twin. Its strong, responsive torque from low rpm makes it easy to handle in everyday riding and on winding roads, while delivering thrilling acceleration. Rider support technologies include Triumph Shift Assist, optimized cornering ABS, and traction control.

What is Triumph Factory Custom (TFC)?

Triumph Factory Custom (TFC) represents the pinnacle of Triumph's expression. Since its launch in 2019, TFC models have pursued premium value in performance, specification, design, and finish, under strict production limits. Each TFC model combines the individuality and presence of a custom build with the assured quality of factory engineering.

The new Speed Twin 1200 TFC is the fifth model to carry the TFC badge, following the Thruxton TFC, Rocket 3 TFC, and two Bobber TFC models.

Exclusive and refined details

The billet aluminum top yoke features a laser-etched TFC emblem and a unique edition number for each motorcycle. Every unit includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Details such as the front mudguard emblem, metallized monogram on clutch and alternator covers, gold-finished chain and inner tubes, and suspension adjusters are designed to balance function and aesthetics.

Gloss-finished carbon fiber mudguards, TFC-logo side panels, and heel guards are included. A dedicated indoor cover and waterproof seat cover are also provided.

Sport-enhancing styling

A low-mounted clip-on handlebar, billet aluminum top yoke, and rear-set footpegs create an aggressive riding position that enhances rider-machine integration.

The Obsidian Gold fuel tank blends metallic black with gold metal flakes, offering a subtle yet striking shimmer under changing light. Gloss-lacquered carbon fiber bodywork adds a technical, motorsport-inspired aesthetic.

A blacked-out finish across the forks, rear sprocket, control plates, and engine covers, combined with a black Akrapovič silencer, creates a sharp, premium appearance. The one-piece bench seat, crafted from black leather and high-grip sports suede, features ribbing and hand-stitching to balance comfort with a custom-sport character.

Lighting includes a classic round LED headlight and a compact bullet-style multifunction rear light. Indicators, brake, and tail light functions are cleanly integrated for a clean rear profile.

Centered around a lightweight, high-strength steel tubular cradle frame, the Speed Twin 1200 TFC is engineered for agile and confident handling on all roads. Fully adjustable Öhlins front and rear suspension allows tuning of preload, compression, and rebound damping to suit rider preference and riding conditions.
