Installed the baby care room 'mamaro' at the 'Tokyo Metropolitan Government Hachijo Subprefecture Exhibition Hall'!

Trim Inc. (Naka-ku, Yokohama, President & CEO: Yusuke Hasegawa) newly installed the fully private baby care room 'mamaro™' at the 'Tokyo Metropolitan Government Hachijo Subprefecture Exhibition Hall' starting 'Friday, March 27, 2026'.

'mamaro' is a fully private baby care room that can be used for baby care purposes such as nursing, diaper changing, and changing clothes. Installations are progressing steadily at commercial facilities, railway stations, public facilities, and parks across Japan, reaching 800 installed units in March 2025, and cumulative usage has reached 1.3 million times. (As of April 2025)

Trim pursues its mission of 'providing a better childcare environment' and promotes the development and installation of products.

■ Background of installation
The Hachijo Subprefecture Exhibition Hall displays metropolitan initiative projects and specialty products of Hachijojima and Aogashima. To ensure broad usage by customers, we newly established a nursing room, a kids' space, and a rest area surrounded by foliage plants and Tokyo wood in FY2025.

In particular, we decided to introduce the nursing room and kids' space, believing that not only tourists but also island residents can spend their time comfortably.

■ Comment from the facility manager
The Hachijo Subprefecture Exhibition Hall is a facility renewed in FY2025, developed as a relaxing space for people of all generations. We have set up a free space where tourists and others can drop by, rest, and interact, along with foliage plants that serve to introduce the island's floriculture.

Furthermore, we newly established a nursing room and a kids' space, aiming to create an environment where child-rearing generations can also spend time comfortably. There are many fixtures made from Tama timber inside, making it a relaxing facility where the scent of wood gently wafts as soon as you enter. Please come and visit us.

■ About the baby care room 'mamaro™'
It is a mobile, fully private baby care room that can be installed in a space about the size of one tatami mat. In addition to being available for a wide range of baby care, it is equipped with software linked to a smartphone app that shows availability in real-time and can acquire user data.
Because it is a private room that can be locked, there are many choices for installation locations, and since it can be used regardless of gender, cases of it being installed as part of D&I and SDGs initiatives are increasing.
