[Yokohama City, Adopted for Subsidy Program from FY2026] Mimamori Support Cocowa Selected as a Registered Service for Yokohama City's Elderly Monitoring and Safety Confirmation Device Subsidy Program

TRIAS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Ryota Okubo)'s "Mimamori Support Cocowa" for the elderly has been officially adopted as a registered service for Yokohama City's "Elderly Monitoring and Safety Confirmation Device Subsidy Program" starting from FY2026.

As a result, single residents of Yokohama City aged 65 or older can receive a monthly subsidy of up to 1,000 yen when using Cocowa.

・Eligible Recipients: Single residents of Yokohama City aged 65 or older

・Subsidy Amount: Up to 1,000 yen per month

■ Adopted by a Total of 6 Municipalities. The Circle of Monitoring Expands Nationwide

Cocowa has previously been adopted for subsidy programs in Nerima Ward and Tachikawa City in Tokyo, Tagajo City in Miyagi Prefecture, Moriguchi City in Osaka Prefecture, and Ichinomiya City in Aichi Prefecture. With this adoption by Yokohama City, it has now been adopted by a total of 6 municipalities.

■ Monitoring Service: "No Camera, No Internet Required, Completed with LINE"

Cocowa is a monitoring service equipped with a domestically produced human motion sensor, with design and production all done in Japan. It is chosen by many families due to the following features:

・Protects privacy with no camera Absolutely no recording of video or audio. The sensor only detects "presence or absence of movement," so monitored parents can accept it without resistance.

・No internet line or construction required Installation can be completed in as little as 1 minute by simply plugging the device, which has a built-in Docomo LTE network, into an outlet. No new internet contract or presence during installation work is necessary.

・Completed entirely with LINE No new app downloads or complex settings are required. All activity status notifications, regular reports, and emergency alerts can be received via your usual LINE app.
