WILLER EXPRESS Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Hirayama) will launch the cashierless payment system "TTG-SENSE," developed by TOUCH TO GO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tomonori Akutsu; hereinafter "TTG"), at the WILLER Bus Terminal Osaka Umeda (Location: 1-1-88 Odondonaka, Kita-ku, Osaka; 1F Tower East, Umeda Sky Building; Business Hours: 6:00–24:30) on June 30, 2026 (Tue).

The WILLER Bus Terminal Osaka Umeda has previously installed vending machines and souvenir corners to improve customer convenience. However, as demand grows for smoother shopping during the limited time before and after highway bus departures and arrivals, providing a sufficient product lineup within the constraints of limited space and staffing has become challenging, making further improvements in convenience a key issue.

With the introduction of "TTG-SENSE," customers will now be able to shop smoothly without queuing at registers. The terminal will offer a comfortable shopping experience that enables stress-free purchases even during short time windows before or after highway bus departures and arrivals.

The product lineup will include Osaka souvenirs, convenient in-bus travel items, private brand products from Kinokuniya, and light meals and beverages tailored to office workers in the building, meeting diverse customer needs. This aims to make the store a daily destination not only for bus terminal users but also for local office workers.

"TTG-SENSE" is a cashierless payment system that uses ceiling-mounted cameras and shelf weight sensors to recognize items in real time as customers pick them up. Simply by picking up items and standing in the payment zone, customers will see their selected products and total amount automatically displayed on a touchscreen, enabling quick checkout without the need to scan items.

Through this initiative, WILLER aims to simultaneously enhance convenience for highway bus passengers and improve store operational efficiency, while pioneering a new shopping experience at transportation hubs.
