Rakuten STAY to Grand Open 'Rakuten STAY VILLA Hakone Gora' in Hakone Town, Kanagawa Prefecture

Rakuten STAY, Inc. (hereinafter 'Rakuten STAY'), which operates the accommodation brand 'Rakuten STAY' for Rakuten Group, Inc. (hereinafter 'Rakuten'), will grand open 'Rakuten STAY VILLA Hakone Gora' (hereinafter 'the Facility') in Hakone Town, Kanagawa Prefecture, on Thursday, April 23. Accommodation reservations have begun on the official 'Rakuten STAY' app, the travel reservation service 'Rakuten Travel' operated by Rakuten, and affiliated domestic and international accommodation reservation sites.

The Facility is a villa-style accommodation surrounded by the rich nature of Hakone, consisting of 3 buildings with 20 rooms. Located about a 7-minute walk from Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Railway, a key transportation hub for traveling in Hakone, it offers a convenient location as a base for sightseeing. All rooms are two-story maisonettes with over 100 square meters of spacious layout including the terrace. The living room features large windows connecting to the terrace, allowing guests to enjoy the outside scenery from inside the room, while the spacious terrace offers a place to relax and feel the nature of Hakone. In addition, it is fully equipped with a natural hot spring bath characterized by an open view, a projector capable of projecting on a large screen, and a kitchen with extensive appliances and cooking utensils, creating a luxurious private space for families and friends to relax.

The Facility offers guest rooms with distinct features. In each A type room, guests can view Mount Myojogatake straight ahead from a terrace equipped with tatami mats and sofas. This mountain is where 'Hakone Gora Onsen Daimonjiyaki', one of Hakone's three major festivals and a familiar summer tradition, is held. Five of the B type rooms feature a private sauna capable of self-löyly, a cold bath, and an outdoor air bath space, allowing guests to fully enjoy an extraordinary experience. Four of the C type rooms are dog-friendly rooms where guests can stay with up to a total of two small, medium, or large dogs, and are equipped with a private dog run for the room. The room is permanently stocked with amenities such as cages, pet beds, food bowls, and pet sheets, and a foot-washing area with a lead hook is installed at the entrance.
