Rihga Royal Hotel Kokura Appoints Shinichi Noguchi as President & CEO

Rihga Royal Hotel Kokura (Asano, Kokura-Kita Ward, Kitakyushu City) announces that Shinichi Noguchi will assume the position of President and Representative Director effective June 16, 2026. This will be the first time that a staff member who has been with the hotel since its opening has been appointed as President and Representative Director.

Mr. Shinichi Noguchi joined the company in 1993, the same year the Rihga Royal Hotel Kokura opened. Since then, he has grown alongside the hotel, accumulating extensive experience. He has served as Banquet Sales Manager, Deputy Sales Manager, and Sales Manager, contributing significantly to revenue growth, particularly in the wedding and banquet sectors.

In 2017, he was appointed Director of Accommodations, a core department of the hotel, where he led a full-scale renovation project, including the refurbishment of 251 guest rooms, successfully enhancing the hotel’s brand value.

In April 2023, he was promoted to Deputy General Manager (concurrently serving as Director of Accommodations), and since April of this year, he has served as General Manager.

Now, as President and Representative Director, he will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, fulfilling the hotel’s role as a leading establishment in Kitakyushu, while also aiming to contribute to regional economic and tourism development.
