Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto (Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto, Higashihorikawa-dori Shio-koji, General Manager Tomohisa Nakatani) will hold the "Spring Gourmet Fair - A Feast of French Kaiseki and Wine at the Counter" at Kaiseki French Cuisine Gourmand Tachibana from Wednesday, April 22 to Friday, April 24, 2026.

This event is a special three-night-only event where guests can enjoy a luxurious dinner featuring seasonal spring ingredients, limited to 20 guests per day. Chef Atsushi Nagasawa will present memorable dishes, each crafted with passion.

The first dish, "Seared Biwa Salmon with Colorful Vegetables and Caviar," is an elegant and vibrant appetizer featuring fragrant seared Biwa salmon, colorful vegetables, and caviar. The "Foie Gras and Eel Rossini-style with Madeira Wine Sauce" combines rich foie gras with slowly grilled eel. The rich sweetness of the Madeira wine sauce elegantly brings the dish together, creating a blissful experience with layers of umami and richness.

For the main course, we offer "Kyoto Duck in Puff Pastry with Red Wine Sauce and Kyoto Vegetables," where the rich flavor of Kyoto duck and the fragrant puff pastry create a culinary harmony. Served with a red wine sauce that enhances the flavor and seasonal Kyoto vegetables, it is finished with an elegant and profound taste.

As an option, we also offer a wine pairing carefully selected by our sommelier specifically for this event.

You can choose between 3 or 5 types of pairings, allowing you to adjust according to your mood and preference.
