TOYO CORPORATION (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Toshiya Kono) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a distribution agreement with SHEERGARD Composite Solutions Inc. (Head Office: Salem, New Hampshire, USA; President: Rajeev Singh; hereinafter referred to as "SCS"). We will strengthen our provision of radomes that balance equipment protection with high radio wave performance, primarily for the defense, aerospace, and telecommunications industries.

Radomes are products that protect internal equipment such as wireless communication antenna devices and radar devices, enabling them to maintain performance even in natural environments such as wind, rain, and snow. They are effective in reducing the burden on electrical components like control and high-frequency circuits, and mechanical components like bearings and gears, as well as protecting against corrosion, thereby reducing long-term lifecycle costs. They also serve to conceal the status of antennas and radars from the outside.

In recent years, with the progression of climate change leading to increasingly harsh natural environments, the demand for protecting antenna and radar devices has been expanding. Furthermore, the movement to strengthen defense capabilities is leading to the maintenance and enhancement of radar equipment, making stable operation of facilities even more important. Additionally, with the spread of advanced satellite communications and next-generation communication infrastructure, the importance of radomes is being re-evaluated to maximize operating time while minimizing the impact on radio wave performance under any environment.

Through the distribution agreement recently concluded, TOYO CORPORATION will begin full-scale domestic sales of all radome products offered by SCS (air-supported, planar, sandwich, and space frame types (scheduled for sale from January 2027)). We will primarily target radar manufacturers, antenna suppliers, and operators involved in the maintenance and operation of ground station antennas, responding to a wide range of needs. Furthermore, by proposing total solutions that combine SCS's radomes with TOYO CORPORATION's parabolic antenna products for ground stations, we will support the smooth setup and operational launch of ground stations, contributing to our customers' business development.
