■ Dreams Gathering at Sasagawa Station
Our dream is to make this station a "place where people gather and warm connections are born."
The station, which once saw many people come and go as the gateway to the region, has changed its role along with the changing times. However, we believe that a station still possesses the power to connect people. A station is a starting line heading to the next destination, and a place you can always return to no matter what happens. In such a place, the dreams of everyone in the town will be displayed on April 1st.

Making Sasagawa Station a place where locals can easily drop by.
A place where visitors can experience the charm of Tonosho Town.
And a place where new hopes and challenges are born.
From this small station, we take a step forward to build the future of the region.
On April 11, 2026, we will hold an opening ceremony to welcome a new start together with the local community. We hope this initiative will serve as a beacon of hope for regional communities nationwide.

■ A New Start
After receiving the transfer of the station building, we held workshops in the town to discuss its utilization and listened to various hopes. Since then, Miho Abe, a member of the Tonosho Town Local Revitalization Co-operator Squad, has been cleaning and displaying artwork once a week. Her activities moved the thoughts and actions of the townspeople, with some volunteering to weed and maintain the flower beds. Furthermore, through events showcasing the inside of the station building and outdoor shogi (Japanese chess) events where people can gather, we have shared a feeling that coming to this station allows individuals to focus on hope and fulfill their personal "desires to do something."

Praying that many dreams will blossom at this Sasagawa Station, we will hold the Tonosho Town Sasagawa Station Exchange Center Renewal Open Commemorative Ceremony on April 11.
