GLION ARENA KOBE Becomes Arena Partner for "Daiichi Life Group Presents BLACK SAMURAI KOBE CAMP"

One Bright KOBE Inc. (Address: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture; President: Jun Shibuya) is pleased to announce its participation as an arena partner for the "Daiichi Life Group Presents BLACK SAMURAI KOBE CAMP," a next-generation development program led by professional basketball player Rui Hachimura, to be held at GLION ARENA KOBE on Tuesday, August 4th, and Wednesday, August 5th. This project is a next-generation development program designed by Rui Hachimura himself, based on his experiences on the world stage, to break through the distance to the world and the challenges facing the Japanese basketball community, serving as a "new place for development." Approximately 100 junior and senior high school students selected from across the country will participate in a two-day basketball camp where they can experience "world standards" by learning not only skills and physical training but also mindset and English simultaneously. This will be the second time the event is held, and in addition to Aichi, it has been decided to hold it in Kobe for the first time in the Kansai region. At KOBE CAMP, under the guidance of current NBA coach Phil Handy, the two-day program will focus on three themes: "Enjoy the Grind," "Fear No Challenge," and "Expand Your Vision," providing development opportunities centered on competition, language, and culture. An intensive two-day "BASKETBALL CAMP" for the selected 100 participants and a fan event "THE SHOWCASE" to experience the energy throughout the arena will be held. Furthermore, prior to this event, a tryout titled "Daiichi Life Group Presents BLACK SAMURAI KOBE CAMP TRYOUT in KOBE" for junior high school boys and girls and high school-aged boys and girls living in Hyogo Prefecture will be held on Saturday, June 20th, and Sunday, June 21st, for a chance to participate in the KOBE CAMP. The venue will be Minato no Mori Park, the sacred ground of street basketball in Kobe. Who will seize the chance for a special program at GLION ARENA KOBE!
