Tomorrow Medical Joins JR East as Co-creation Partner for 'LX Doctor' Development

Tomorrow Medical Inc., a medical business consulting firm, is participating as a co-creation partner in the development of 'LX Doctor,' an online medical consultation service available in private booths at 22 stations (24 booths) of East Japan Railway Company (JR East), starting sequentially from May 20, 2026. The company is responsible for incorporating medical operational requirements into service and system design, supporting the realization of a new service that integrates healthcare into daily commuting routes.

Background
The JR East Group has set the realization of Lifestyle Transformation (LX) as a key goal in its management vision, 'YUSHO 2034.' Under this vision, the group is developing 'Smart Health Station®,' a total healthcare service connecting prevention, medical treatment, and aftercare, starting from railway stations. LX Doctor is one of the services that embodies this concept. By placing medical access points on commuting and school routes, the project delivers a new experience where people can consult with a doctor during their daily journeys.

Tomorrow Medical's Role
Participating as a co-creation partner, Tomorrow Medical is responsible for reflecting requirements such as medical laws and online consultation guidelines, operational know-how of medical settings, and coordination with participating medical institutions into the service design, system requirements, and operational rules for LX Doctor. Specifically, the company contributes from a medical perspective in areas such as designing the patient experience, developing an operational foundation with participating medical institutions, and managing compliance across regulatory environments overseen by multiple government agencies, thereby supporting the realization of a reliable service for both patients and healthcare providers.
