"Forest and Water Free Research Tour - Learn the Secrets of Circulation in Tateshina -" Overview
【Tour Overview】
After experiencing immersive VR that allows you to walk through the forest as if you were an animal, you will walk through the actual forest. By answering quizzes about the environmental initiatives being carried out at Tokyu Resort Town Tateshina, such as Tateshina Larch, biomass boilers, compost, and edible gardens, both children and adults can experience the coexistence of nature and humans, as well as the "circulation" of forests, nature, food, and the region.
As a souvenir, you will receive a tumbler made from CO2 solidified during the burning of chips in a biomass boiler. You can also make and take home herbal water using herbs you collect yourself. This tour allows you to think about the environment while having fun, exploring not only carbon neutrality but also "carbon negativity."
Furthermore, a portion of the proceeds will be returned to environmental conservation and research activities, allowing everyone to indirectly participate in environmental conservation efforts simply by enjoying the experience.
