Tokyu Stay Shinjuku to Reopen with Renovations on September 29, 2026

Tokyu Resorts & Stay Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Kenichi Yamawaki; hereinafter referred to as 'our company') is pleased to announce that 'Tokyu Stay Shinjuku' (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Manager: Junichiro Tomita; hereinafter referred to as 'the hotel'), operated by our company in Shinjuku Sanchome, will reopen after renovations on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Reservations will begin on Friday, April 10, 2026. With the design concept 'SANKADO SQUARE,' the hotel aims to be an open 'plaza'-like base for stays, incorporating the charm of Shinjuku Sanchome, where diverse cultures intersect. The guest rooms will be available in types optimal for small groups, families, and larger groups.

**■ 'Community-Linked Hotel' – Rooms Available for Family and Group Trips –**

Currently undergoing full-scale renovations towards its grand reopening on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, 'Tokyu Stay Shinjuku' will offer rooms that cater to all travel styles, from trips for couples to family and group travel. In response to the increasing number of international visitors in recent years, we are establishing rooms that can accommodate up to 4 people, expanding the average room size across all rooms to 25 square meters, approximately 1.5 times the previous size.

In addition to enhanced comfort, the open spatial design, like a plaza that incorporates the people, town, and culture of Shinjuku Sanchome, naturally invites guests to cultural experiences. Shinjuku Sanchome has long been a town where cultural figures from various fields such as literature, theater, film, art, photography, and music have gathered, and culture breathes within daily life. Inheriting this context, the hotel's 2nd-floor lounge is scheduled to provide a space for expression connecting people, town, and culture by hosting young cultural figures active in various fields. Furthermore, a 'three-hotel collaboration plan' is being conceived in cooperation with other Tokyu Stay hotels in the Shinjuku area operated by our company (Tokyu Stay Nishi-Shinjuku, Tokyu Stay Shinjuku East Side).

The hotel aims to be a 'plaza'-like base where many people gather and new cultures are born, incorporating the charm of Shinjuku Sanchome throughout the facility, not just for overnight guests but as a hotel open to the town.

**■ Hotel Common Areas and Overall Composition**

The 14-story building will have the 1st floor housing the lobby and front desk, and the 2nd floor featuring a guest-only lounge, a restaurant, and some guest rooms. This seamlessly connects check-in, relaxation, and dining. The design of the common areas will be inspired by Shinjuku's unique cultures, such as movies, cafes, and Yosegi (traditional Japanese wood mosaic art), creating a unique vibrancy where the town's energy and echoes intersect.

The main guest floors are on the 3rd to 13th floors. Each floor is efficiently laid out with 10 rooms (6 double, 3 triple, 1 quadruple). The materials used in the guest rooms emphasize a unified feel, with consistent design applied to sofa upholstery and wallpaper. The top floor, the 14th, will feature one suite with a panoramic view and 4 double rooms. The total number of guest rooms is planned to be 120*, with a maximum total capacity of 300 guests.
