Tokyu Department Store (hereafter, our company) is opening the 2nd store of <THE WINE by TOKYU DEPARTMENT STORE> at Futako-Tamagawa Tokyu Food Show. This follows the relocation and opening of the main store's wine section, <THE WINE>, as a street-level store in Shoto, Shibuya-ku, after the closure of the Tokyu Department Store Main Store.

Features of <THE WINE by TOKYU DEPARTMENT STORE> Futako-Tamagawa Store

● A Selection of Over 1,300 Varieties

An overwhelming selection of Burgundy wines unique to Tokyu Department Store. Furthermore, we comprehensively cover a wide range, selecting fine wines from renowned regions around the world, as well as trending Japanese wines and natural wines.

In addition, we plan to hold special bargain events and POP-UP events exclusive to the Futako-Tamagawa store.

● Commitment to Interior Design and Safe, Secure Quality Control

We guide customers into the world of wine with an interior inspired by a cave for storing wine and the curves of a winery. Centered around a pillar that serves as the symbol of the sales floor, unprecedented circular fixtures stage new discoveries and encounters with wine.

Moreover, by being equipped with a temperature-controlled wine cellar and backroom, we carry out thorough quality control of the wine.

● Wine Fairs (Held Regularly)

The Tokyu Department Store Wine Fair, which has been supported by enthusiasts for about 30 years, will also be held at the Futako-Tamagawa store. In addition to popular Burgundy wines, we will introduce nearly 100 varieties of new arrivals every month, ranging from currently talked-about Japanese wines to small-production Champagnes.

● Paid Tasting Service at the Tasting Counter

At the tasting counter, where you can easily drop by, you can enjoy everything from standard favorites carefully selected by the staff of <THE WINE by TOKYU DEPARTMENT STORE> to seasonal wines you should taste right now, starting from a single glass. Please feel free to casually enjoy carefully selected wines chosen according to themes such as new arrivals, latest vintages, wineries, grape varieties, and production areas in a 'kaku-uchi' (standing bar) style.
