The Tokyo Station City Management Council, a general incorporated association, will hold the event 'Horoyoi, Fukushima' (Tipsy, Fukushima) for five days from Thursday, April 9 to Monday, April 13, 2026, at 'Square Zero,' an event space inside the JR Tokyo Station B1 ticket gate. This event, where visitors can enjoy Fukushima's local sake and the charm of travel with all five senses, is co-hosted by the JR East Tohoku Headquarters, Mito Branch, and JR East Cross Station Co., Ltd.

The theme of the event is 'A Local Sake Tour That Will Surely Make You Want to Visit Fukushima.' At the venue, a 'travel manga' set in six Fukushima sake breweries will appear as three-dimensional objects, allowing visitors to virtually experience a trip to Fukushima. Furthermore, the main content, Fukushima BAR, will propose a new way to choose sake, where you can find 'your own perfect glass.' From Tokyo Station, we invite everyone to discover the unseen charms of Fukushima.

During the event period, a 'Fukushima Direct Sales Market' will also be held at the same venue. A wide variety of Fukushima's renowned sake and local specialties related to Fukushima, such as basashi (horse meat sashimi), grilled egoma gyoza (perilla leaf dumplings), and kaden yubeshi (traditional sweet mochi), will be available for purchase. Please consider them as a 'small reward or souvenir' for yourself or your family. Additionally, photo spots and a stamp rally that evoke the feeling of Fukushima will be available within the venue.

This event targets light users in their 20s and 30s who have had few opportunities to experience sake, as well as many people who use Tokyo Station. By not only 'buying sake' but also 'experiencing Fukushima,' we aim to boost the 'Fukushima Destination Campaign (Fukushima DC)' which is being held concurrently.
