First Look at "Shion Otomo 1st Photobook (Tentative)" Reveals New Images in Japanese Attire & Suits!

Shion Otomo has been expanding his career in various fields, including his role as Daikei Jutin in the popular "Touken Ranbu" musical series, appearances in popular stage plays and straight plays, and recently starring in streaming dramas. As one of the rising young actors, he will release his first photobook on his 19th birthday, August 10. The third set of preview images has just been released, featuring him in a kimono in a rainy night cityscape and in a suit with glasses.

To capture Otomo's personal side, this photobook includes shots recreating casual high school life, playful moments with his beloved cats, enjoying BBQs while glamping, and playing tennis, a sport he's been familiar with since childhood, showcasing his true self.

Shot in March of this year, just after his high school graduation, the photobook also includes images that capture his transition from boy to man. Incorporating Otomo's own ideas, the photos express his "future as an adult actor" through shots of him commanding the stage. On the other hand, with the theme "What if I had chosen a different path?", he embodies a university student and a company employee, expressing a "future in an 'if' world." The portraits offer two contrasting stories.

Enjoy this collection that carefully captures his expressions, available only at this moment as he steps from boyhood into adulthood.

An event to commemorate the release of his first photobook will be held in Tokyo on August 15 (Sat), 22 (Sat), and 23 (Sun). Hello everyone! This is Shion Otomo.

I'm so happy to be able to deliver a photobook to you all in my final year of my teens, at 19 years old! The concept for this photobook is "myself as an actor and myself if I hadn't become an actor"! It also captures private moments like school life and living alone as a university student! Please expand your imagination beyond the photos!
