Starting with the May issue of B.L.T. released today, Friday, March 27, a new series by TBS announcer Kyoko Nango will begin. Now in her third year at the company, Nango is a popular announcer who handles many of TBS's flagship programs, such as the morning information show "THE TIME," and "Ousama no Brunch," and has gained support from viewers under the nickname "Nango-chan." Furthermore, she ranked 7th in the "Favorite Female Announcer Ranking" announced by Oricon News last year, making her a young announcer from whom even greater success is expected in the future.

The title of the new series is "Tonari no Nango-chan" (Nango-chan Next Door). The title was chosen to reflect the intention of showing the natural, unadorned side of Nango that she only reveals to those close to her. The series will capture the unguarded moments of Nango, who usually has a calm and composed image, and will be published alongside essays written by her. For the first installment, at her own request, she visited a dog cafe where she could interact with large dogs.
