It is structured into three chapters: "Similar English Words," "Same English Word, Different Meanings / Different English Words, Same Meaning," and "English Words Created by Combining." It introduces various aspects of English through photographs. "Similar English Words" explains words that are not often distinguished in Japanese but are in English, such as insect and worm, big and large, little and small, with explanations accompanied by actual photographs. In "Same English Word, Different Meanings," it introduces words with different meanings despite being the same word, such as "fall," which can mean "to drop" or "autumn." Takashi Okabe (responsible for text) is a writer born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1972.

Takashi Yamade (responsible for photos) is a photographer born in Mie Prefecture in 1970.

Their joint works include "Me de Miru Kotoba no Zukan," "Shiraberu Chigai no Zukan," "Niteiru Kotoba," and "Kuraberu Tōzai" (Tokyo Shoseki).
