The Tokyo Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Mitsutoshi Tarao) will start accepting applications for the "13th (FY2026 2nd) Equipment Investment Support Project for Dynamic Business Promotion" from Tuesday, July 14, aiming to strengthen Tokyo's industrial power and achieve sustainable economic development in the city. Prior to the application period, briefings will be held on Friday, June 19 and Friday, July 3, both starting at 2:00 PM. [What is the Equipment Investment Support Project for Dynamic Business Promotion?] This project subsidizes part of the costs for introducing machinery and equipment necessary for small and medium enterprises in Tokyo to strengthen competitiveness through "qualitative improvement of products and services" or to improve productivity by "expanding production capacity." [Highlights] ● Maximum subsidy limit of 200 million yen From companies considering large-scale investments to small businesses aiming to strengthen competitiveness, the subsidy supports a wide range of projects with amounts from 1 million to 200 million yen. ● Maximum subsidy rate of 4/5 If a certain wage increase is implemented according to a plan, or if the initiative has high energy-saving effects, the subsidy rate is expanded to up to 4/5 or up to 3/4 depending on the business category. ● Individual consultation sessions Subsidy briefing sessions will be held on Friday, June 19 and Friday, July 3. [Eligible Projects] Projects must fall under one of the following categories I to III: I: Competitiveness Enhancement Projects that newly introduce machinery and equipment necessary for business development aimed at strengthening competitiveness for further growth. II: Successor Challenge Projects that newly introduce machinery and equipment necessary for business diversification or tackling new management challenges by successors triggered by business succession. III: Upgrade Promotion Projects that newly introduce machinery and equipment necessary to achieve competitiveness enhancement and productivity improvement, and grow to become a core part of the regional economy. * Specific examples of upgrade promotion will be provided at the subsidy briefing. [Subsidy Rates and Limits] * Zero Emission Course: The subsidy rate is expanded for initiatives with high energy-saving effects. * Wage Increase Course: The subsidy rate is expanded if a certain wage increase is implemented according to a plan. * For applications under the Upgrade Promotion category, both the Zero Emission Course and Wage Increase Course requirements must be met.
