Three Programs to Experience Local Jobs, Understand Workers' Aspirations, and Think About Your Own Future

"Connect Nerima Career Pass" offers opportunities not just to experience work, but also to think about your own career path and future by engaging with the aspirations of workers and the background of businesses.

We aim for a day where participants can see "working locally" as an accessible option by learning about the types of jobs available in the community, who is working, and what their aspirations are.

On the day, we will create new encounters through three steps: experience, dialogue, and interaction.

In addition, we will implement the following three initiatives.

[Job Experience (Reservation Required)] Main Target: Elementary to High School Students, Parents/Guardians

Job experience booths will be set up by companies and organizations based in the Nerima area. You can experience a variety of jobs, including firefighting/Self-Defense Forces, woodworking, stonework, kimonos/traditional attire, radio, drones, health/sports, and accounting, in a workshop format.

By experiencing actual work and interacting with professionals, participants will learn about the appeal of local companies and the interest of various jobs, creating an opportunity to think about their future career paths.

*Advance reservations for job experience are now closed due to full capacity.

[Talk Session with Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Nerima] Main Target: Students such as High School and University Students, Parents/Guardians

This is a talk session where representatives from exhibiting companies will discuss themes such as "Why are you doing this business?" and "How are you involved with the community?"

It broadens your perspective on your own future and career path by engaging not only with job content but also with the value of work and the aspirations of companies.

[Interaction Session: SMEs in Nerima x Students] Main Target: Students such as High School and University Students

This is an interaction session where you can engage in small group discussions with company presidents, HR managers, and field employees to hear directly about job satisfaction, daily tasks, and career development.

It aims to connect the insights gained from job experiences and talk sessions to concrete images of your own career path and to build relationships that lead to the next steps, such as company visits and internships.

About the Organizing Body

We, the Public Interest Incorporated Association Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (abbreviated as "Tokyo JC" and referred to as "Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry" in the text below), were founded in 1949 (Showa 24) by young people who shared the aspiration that "the reconstruction of a new Japan is the work of youth" amidst the deep scars of war that remained in the city and people's hearts.

Since then, the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry has carried out various activities and movements under the philosophy of "realizing a bright and prosperous society." The Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry is composed of members who join based on their free individual will, regardless of race, nationality, gender, occupation, or religion.

The Japan Junior Chamber, Inc. bases its activities on "individual training," "service to society," and "friendship with the world," and strives to enlighten and exchange among members, cultivate public spirit, and contribute to social development through collaboration with the community, actively addressing social issues.

The fields of activity, which have experienced various practical training within the Junior Chamber, are wide-ranging. Including graduates who have reached the age of 40 and graduated, not only are they active as community leaders, but many individuals have also been sent into politics and business circles.
