Final Deliverable "Geopolitical Risk and Multimodal Intelligence: Intelligence Generation through Use Cases" Issued for "Multimodal Intelligence and Geopolitical Risk Analysis" Research Project

Tokio Marine dR Co., Ltd. and DEEP DIVE, a general incorporated association, have been conducting the research project "Multimodal Intelligence and Geopolitical Risk Analysis" since July 2025. We have now jointly issued the final deliverable of this project, "Geopolitical Risk and Multimodal Intelligence: Intelligence Generation through Use Cases." "Multimodal Intelligence and Geopolitical Risk Analysis" Research Project Overview This project explores intelligence methodologies that contribute to corporate decision-making regarding geopolitical risks that significantly impact Japanese companies, and identifies areas where analysis is effective (scope of application). By combining and integrating multiple different public and primary information sources, such as satellite imagery and ship position data (multimodal), highly accurate intelligence is generated. This project also collaborates with DEEP DIVE, a general incorporated association, which possesses East Asia's leading expertise in multimodal open-source intelligence (OSINT) in the security field. As described above, this final report explores intelligence methodologies that contribute to the decision-making of various companies through five use cases regarding geopolitical risks, which are of increasing concern to Japanese companies, and presents a model for generating advanced intelligence for private organizations such as companies.
