Toho Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroyasu Matsuoka) will newly open 'Godzilla Store Hakata' (Hakata Marui 2F) and relocate and renew 'Godzilla Store Umeda' (NU Chayamachi 7F) on Monday, April 6, 2026.

■ Expanding Godzilla Store Network Domestically and Internationally

The official Godzilla store, 'Godzilla Store,' currently operates 4 domestic stores in Tokyo and Osaka. Alongside the 1st overseas store, 'Godzilla Store Taipei,' which opened last September, and the 2nd overseas store, 'Godzilla Store Malaysia,' opened this January, these locations have been highly acclaimed as spaces where numerous Godzilla fans from Japan and abroad can experience the Godzilla brand.

Following this success, it has been decided to open 'Godzilla Store Hakata' in Hakata Marui, Fukuoka Prefecture, marking the 'first' landing of the Godzilla Store in the Kyushu area. Furthermore, 'Godzilla Store Umeda,' which operated on the 5th floor of Daimaru Umeda, will close on Monday, March 9, due to major renovation work at the South Gate Building where Daimaru Umeda is located, and will be relocated and reopened at NU Chayamachi.

As for the standing figure, a massive statue of approximately 2 meters, reminiscent of the Godzilla (1994) appearing in the same film, will welcome everyone!
