Original Goods for Anime 'Galaxy Express Milky Subway' to be Sold at Bookstores

Tohan Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroaki Kawakami) and Pop Mint Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Satoru Sakano) announced a collaboration to sell original merchandise for the anime 'Galaxy Express Milky Subway' at bookstores across Japan, starting April 14, 2026. 'Galaxy Express Milky Subway' is a short anime directed, written, character-designed, and produced by Yohei Kameyama. It was broadcast and distributed on TOKYO MX and YouTube in 2025, and a re-edited theatrical version with new scenes was released in February 2026. The merchandise, planned and produced by Pop Mint, includes 53 types of original goods featuring newly drawn visuals of the main characters in cherry blossom viewing attire. Customers purchasing original goods will receive one of four types of newly drawn postcards as a novelty, while supplies last. Tohan Corporation has invested in Pop Mint and intends to expand the distribution of goods produced by Pop Mint, focusing on bookstores.
