Toda Corporation (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Kiyosuke Otani) has developed in-house and begun the full-scale company-wide deployment of "Toda-AI-Portal™," a generative AI platform that utilizes knowledge and achievements accumulated in the construction business. This initiative is one of the concrete measures following the announcement on April 1, 2026, of "Toda Corporation's Three Measures to Make AI Utilization a 'Company-wide Standard'." By linking scattered information assets within the company with AI, we provide an environment where employees can quickly retrieve necessary information with its basis. This enhances the quality of design studies, technical judgments, and proposals to customers, leading to the value proposition of "better craftsmanship." 1. Development Background and Positioning For us as a construction company, the most essential customer value is to deliver better buildings to our customers. To achieve this, we have supported the quality of our buildings by utilizing the technical knowledge and construction records accumulated over many years in our daily operations. On the other hand, there were aspects where general-purpose AI services were insufficient for utilizing specialized knowledge related to the construction industry and our company's unique information assets in a practical manner.
