Tobu Top Tours Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sumida-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Koji Momokida) is pleased to announce that from April 1, 2026, we have commenced business operations in a shared space within the "Kinugawa Onsen Station Tourist Center," which we operate, in collaboration with the Nikko City Tourism Association Kinugawa/Kawaji Branch (hereinafter, Nikko City Tourism Association).
Since 2024, discussions have been ongoing regarding the rebuilding of the Fujiwara Community Culture Center, where the Nikko City Tourism Association was located. Through repeated discussions among Nikko City, Nikko City Tourism Association, Tobu Railway Co., Ltd., and our company, the decision was made to proceed with business operations in this shared space.
Through this business development, we will integrate the "community-based information power" of the tourism association and our company's "travel product development and sales capabilities" on the same floor, providing valuable and effective one-stop services to our customers.
Features and Benefits of this Collaboration
Beyond simply sharing space, we aim to maximize the "synergistic effects between the region and companies" based on the following three points.
1. Centralization of Tourism Information and Improvement of Service Quality
By integrating the tourism association's community-based tourism information with our company's travel operation know-how, we will provide faster and more accurate services, from facility guidance to transportation information and travel product proposals.
2. Creation of New High-Value-Added Products
We will unearth untapped tourism resources in the region and strengthen the planning and sales of new local tours and high-value-added products in cooperation with the tourism association.
3. Optimization of Operational Efficiency
While mutually complementing human resources, we aim to achieve both efficiency through the promotion of digital sales and qualitative improvement of face-to-face services by staff familiar with the region.
After the start of the collaboration, we will strive to enhance mutual business cooperation and accelerate new business developments that contribute to regional revitalization, such as event collaborations and new forms of in-store sales. Our company will use this base as a core to maximize the appeal of the Kinugawa Onsen area and contribute to the realization of sustainable tourism destination management (DMC).
