Pre-orders for the Second Release Single Malt Whisky from the Revived Hanyu Distillery in Hanyu City, Saitama Prefecture, Begin April 1st

Toa Shuzo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hanyu City, Saitama Prefecture; Representative Director: Yasuhisa Nakada) will begin pre-orders on April 1st for its second release single malt whisky, 'TONE Hanyu Largamente Single Malt Double Cask Sherry & Bourbon,' following the March 2025 first release, 'Hanyu GENESIS,' from the Hanyu Distillery, which resumed distillation in 2021. Pre-orders for the whisky will be available starting April 1st, 'Japanese Whisky Day,' on the company's official online store, 'Toa no Kura.' Toa Shuzo began its whisky-making history in 1946, and after operating for about 20 years starting in 1980, the distillery was closed in 2000 due to market decline. In 2021, the new Hanyu Distillery finally resumed operations. Following the successful Makuake project in 2021, the company released its first single malt, 'Hanyu GENESIS,' in March 2025, limited to 2,021 bottles worldwide. In May 2025, the 'Hanyu Distillery Visitor Center' was opened, offering tours and tastings. In August 2025, the new brand 'TONE Hanyu' was launched with the release of 'TONE Hanyu World Malt Whisky.'
