Toa Construction Establishes Local Subsidiary R2TOA CORPORATION in the Philippines

Toa Construction Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Takeshi Hayakawa; hereinafter "the Company") has established a local subsidiary, R2TOA CORPORATION, in the Republic of the Philippines.

[Name and Logo] The design is derived from the Company's former logo mark. "R2" originates from the initials of the founders of both EPHC and ADB.

Since establishing an office in the Philippines in 1995, the Company has accumulated a track record centered on Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects, such as power plant construction, reclamation, roads, bridges, ports, and flood control works. Through this newly established local subsidiary, the Company aims to participate in private-sector civil engineering and construction projects for both Japanese and local firms, as well as local public works projects.

Furthermore, in the "Medium-Term Management Plan <2026-2028>" announced by the Company in March 2026, one of the overseas construction business strategies is to strengthen cooperation with local capital and partners and to promote steady business expansion centered on local subsidiaries.

Following the establishment of PT. TOA TUNAS JAYA INDONESIA in Indonesia in 2023, the Company will further promote the expansion of its overseas construction business while deepening collaboration with local companies in the Philippines. In the Philippines, where further economic growth is expected, the Company will contribute to the country's economic development and the strengthening of its social foundations.
