GIZMART 9th Project: Keychron × GIZMART Co-developed Split Keyboard 'Keychron Orca echo' World Premiered at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2026

GIZMART, a media-linked crowdfunding platform operated by Gizmodo Japan and a group company of TNL Mediagene (NASDAQ: TNMG), has announced that the official name of its second co-developed product with Keychron has been decided as 'Keychron Orca echo'.

Simultaneously, the prototype of this product, which is the 9th project of GIZMART, will be world-premiered at 'COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2026' held in Taipei, Taiwan, starting today, June 2, 2026 (Tuesday). Furthermore, a Japan-exclusive crowdfunding campaign will begin on GIZMART on June 19, 2026 (Friday).

Background of Development

Due to the establishment of remote work and the growing attention to desk setups, the input device market is experiencing unprecedented excitement. 'Split keyboards', which allow input in a preferred posture, are gaining enthusiastic support.

In response to these market needs, Keychron and GIZMART have conducted their second co-development. For this product, developed as the 9th GIZMART project, the official name has been decided as 'Keychron Orca echo', and its specifications and features are being disclosed.

Four Major Features of the 'Keychron Orca echo' Unveiled

1. Operability Without Taking Hands Off the Home Position

A trackball is placed at the right thumb position, and a wheel on the left side. Furthermore, vertical scroll pads are mounted on both the left and right units, allowing all operations from key input to mouse control and screen scrolling to be completed at hand.

2. Magnetic Attachment Design for a 'Portable Split' Form Factor

The left and right units can be attached and detached via magnets on their back surfaces. When moving, they can be combined into a single compact gadget. A dedicated carrying case to protect the delicate keys will also be released simultaneously.

3. Two-Stage Tenting for Pursuing Ergonomics

A two-stage tenting (tilt) stand is built into the back of the main unit. It can be adjusted to the user's preferred angle, supporting comfortable operation even during long typing sessions.

4. Free Key Customization Completed in a Browser

The 49-key layout supports the browser-based 'Keychron Launcher'. There is no need to keep a dedicated app running on the PC, and settings are saved to the keyboard's onboard memory, allowing the same settings to be used across different environments regardless of the OS.

Along with the announcement of the official name, the prototype will be shown to the public for the first time in the world, revealing its full form.
