TMLDE Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") (Headquarters: Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, President: Yasuyuki Takahashi) is pleased to announce that Tottori Prefecture will newly participate in the nationwide environmental point system "Eco Action Points" provided by the Company, starting July 1, Reiwa 8 (2026).

This is the first time a prefecture has joined the system since the Company took over the "Eco Action Points" project in 2019.

In this initiative, "Eco Action Points" will be awarded to each prefectural resident for environmentally conscious actions towards the realization of a decarbonized society. Points can be accumulated by implementing actions in daily life that lead to energy conservation and reduction of environmental impact. Accumulated points can be exchanged for gift certificates, various products, and more. Additionally, an entry plan for a lottery in the prefecture's "Eco de Tokutoku Natsu Toku Daisakusen Stamp Rally" is also available.

The system will be operated based on "Eco Action Menus" set by Tottori Prefecture, promoting proactive environmental actions by residents and advancing decarbonization efforts throughout the prefecture.

Comment from Tottori Prefecture, Department of Living and Environmental Affairs, Division for Promoting a Decarbonized Society, Climate Change Countermeasures Section

In Tottori Prefecture, we aim to achieve a decarbonized society and realize our greenhouse gas reduction target (60% reduction from FY2013 levels by FY2030). Under the slogan "Tottori Reborn!", we are working to shift to a lifestyle that protects the environment and health while living comfortably and conveniently (from "eco out of necessity" to "eco that is comfortable and convenient"), and to revitalize the regional economy through local production and consumption of renewable energy.

To promote the lifestyle transition for our prefectural residents, Tottori Prefecture is launching the "Tottori Prefecture Eco Action Points" system, which awards points for everyday environmentally conscious actions.

We hope that by participating in the "Tottori Prefecture Eco Action Points", residents will enjoy and benefit from practicing eco-friendly actions, and together we will work towards achieving a decarbonized society for the entire prefecture.

It has been introduced by various organizations such as local governments and companies, and is characterized by its high degree of flexibility in designing eco-actions according to regional characteristics and business objectives. This allows for the effective promotion of behavioral change among users while enabling the deployment of environmental measures optimized for each region and entity.

Points can be earned through a dedicated app, and points can be easily obtained by scanning QR codes installed at target facilities or by posting within the app.

Users can exchange accumulated points for gift certificates, various products, and more, enabling them to practice continuous environmental actions while enjoying the process.
