Nojima T.League 2025-2026 Season Playoffs East Asia Synthesis Presents Men's Semifinal
Kanazawa Port 3-2 T.T Saitama

KA Kanagawa, taking the lead with their first-time pairing, advances straight to the finals.

The Women's Semifinal was a match between KA Kanagawa (2nd in the regular season) and Nippon Paint M (3rd). The first match, doubles, featured an unexpected lineup. Nippon Paint M fielded Aoki Saki/Otofuji Satsuki, who had a 1-1 record this season, while KA Kanagawa put out Hirano Miu/Chen Yi-ching, a pair for the first time. Despite being a hastily formed international pair, Hirano/Chen communicated well and scored points not just with powerful shots but also with strategic placement and spin, securing the victory.

The second match was a roughly one-hour intense battle between Harimoto Miwa (KA Kanagawa) and Sato Hitomi (Nippon Paint M). Although Harimoto took the first game after coming back from an 8-3 deficit, Sato, who had increased her attacks, improved her defensive tenacity, offense, and scoring ability, took a 2-1 game lead. Cornered, Harimoto showed remarkable tenacity, even surpassing Sato, who is a chopper. Her strategy of exploiting slight openings with smashes, created by precise and high-quality pushes with few errors, paid off, and she secured a comeback victory with a 3-2 game score. KA Kanagawa was now one step away from the finals.

In the third match, due to the advantage rule, Nippon Paint M's Yokoi Sakura was revealed, but KA Kanagawa countered with Adriana Diaz. The match, where both players fully showcased their strengths, was a close contest with three out of four games going into deuce. In the end, Diaz created an opening with a cut-block against Yokoi's drive and landed a decisive shot in the middle for the win. Kinoshita Abyel Kanagawa won 3-0, securing their fourth consecutive appearance in the finals.

The Men's Semifinal was a match between Kanazawa (2nd in the regular season) and T.T Saitama (3rd).

In the first match, doubles, Kanazawa fielded the pair Yoshida Masaki/Lim Jong-hoon, who had a 3-1 record in the regular season, against T.T Saitama's pair Kido Yuya/Arienai Hiromu, who had a 5-2 record. In the first game, Im's powerful Chiquita was effective, and in the second game, Yoshida's forehand drive exploded, leading to a straight-games victory. Kanazawa took the lead.

The following second match was a showdown between classmates Kobayashi Hiromu (Kanazawa) and Sone Sho (T.T Saitama). Kobayashi was fielded against Sone, whose order had been revealed in advance. Both players were in good positions...
