TKC Corporation (Headquarters: Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture / President and Representative Director: Masaki Iizuka) has developed "Peporun," a pilot version of a new tool that enables the sending and receiving of Peppol invoices (digital invoices via Peppol). It was launched on Thursday, April 30, 2026, for businesses not currently using TKC systems.
TKC began its Peppol invoice sending and receiving service in December 2022, and currently, over 8,500 companies are using it. The more Peppol invoices spread, the more convenient it becomes for the companies using them. Based on this, to contribute to further adoption, this tool is being widely released as an easy and affordable way to send and receive Peppol invoices.
Ⅰ Features of Peppol Sending/Receiving Tool "Peporun"
Easy to send You can easily send Peppol invoices by simply entering the necessary information on the website. There is no need to install new programs on your computer.

What is Peppol?
Peppol is a standard specification for "document specifications," "operational rules," and "networks" for exchanging electronic documents such as invoices over a network. It is managed by Open Peppol, an international non-profit organization headquartered in Belgium, and is used in over 30 countries worldwide, including European countries. In Japan, the Digital Agency has also published Japan's standard specification for digital invoices (JP PINT) based on Peppol.
Peppol adopts an architecture called the "4-Corner Model," which allows sending and receiving via the respective access points of the sender and receiver, similar to email. This mechanism enables communication with all users participating in the Peppol network, even if they use different systems.
TKC's Initiatives
TKC was certified as a Peppol Service Provider by the Digital Agency and Open Peppol, the managing body of Peppol, in August 2022. As of the end of March 2026, 8,561 companies are participating in the Peppol network using TKC's provided Peppol access point.
Furthermore, as a representative executive corporation of the "Electronic Invoice Promotion Association" (EIPA), TKC is working to promote the widespread adoption of Peppol invoices and provides various Peppol-compatible systems, including obtaining a patent (Patent No. 6950107) for generating journal entries from received invoice data.
