TIS Inc. (TISI), part of the TIS INTEC Group (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Yasushi Okamoto), announced today that it will jointly conduct a proof of concept (PoC) with Iyo Bank, Ltd. (Head Office: Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture; President: Takashi Sagayama) starting in October 2026, to explore sales support using generative AI that leverages CRM data.
This initiative aims to improve the quality of customer proposals and operational productivity by utilizing customer and sales information accumulated by Iyo Bank, along with generative AI. It will also validate the effectiveness of applying specialized AI for business operations.
Background
In recent years, generative AI has seen increasing adoption across various industries. While financial institutions expect to leverage it for operational efficiency and enhanced customer service, careful planning is required for its application in actual business operations, considering aspects such as security and compliance, and the need for user literacy to facilitate its adoption.
Iyo Bank is working on building an AI foundation and standardizing sales processes to enhance its overall sales operations. In typical sales activities, bank employees review transaction and negotiation records in the CRM system, grasp key points, and then gather necessary proposal materials and information to be discussed. However, organizing information and preparing proposals takes considerable time, and the utilization of past interaction history often depends on the individual representative's experience and skills. Therefore, there was a need to create a system that enables sales representatives to quickly understand customer situations and make more appropriate proposals.
TISI provides Iyo Bank with its financial institution solution "fcube" CRM system, which is used for confirming and sharing customer information, registering negotiation records, and more. This PoC was initiated because of the potential to utilize the information accumulated in Iyo Bank's CRM system with generative AI, and the ease with which business-specialized AI, optimized for specific use cases, can be applied to actual sales operations.
Proof of Concept Environment
In this PoC, TISI will build a dedicated PoC environment for Iyo Bank and develop a verification prototype application (hereinafter referred to as the "verification app"). Iyo Bank will then verify the effectiveness and challenges of the verification app in its sales activities. The generative AI usage environment will be equipped with security measures consistent with the service environment of TISI's "fcube." By connecting to the verification terminals used by sales representatives via a closed network, security will be ensured, and an environment compliant with financial institutions' security policies will be established. Furthermore, the knowledge data utilized in the verification app will be customer and sales information stored in the CRM system and other sources.

Proof of Concept Overview
・Implementation Period: October 2026 – November 2026 (planned)
・Implementation Details: Sales representatives from Iyo Bank's head office and branches will use the verification app to gather key points of deals and negotiation content, as well as material for considering next actions, necessary for customer proposals. The effectiveness of the generative AI's output in deepening sales representatives' understanding of customers and supporting appropriate sales approaches will be verified.
・Use Cases and Expected Effects
・Evaluation Criteria: The following evaluations will be conducted using user surveys and generative AI execution logs.

Sales representatives from Iyo Bank's head office and branches will input inquiries about corporate customer information or proposal activities into a chat screen, and the generative AI will output responses. The PoC will verify whether the generative AI's output contributes to the enhancement of corporate sales.
Future Development
Based on the insights gained from this PoC, the practicality for Iyo Bank's sales operations will be evaluated, and future implementation into the current CRM and enhancement of sales support functions will be considered. Furthermore, the results of this initiative are planned to be utilized for strengthening "fcube" functionalities and advancing solutions for financial institutions.
