Tiger Mov Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Eriko Kikuchi; hereinafter "Tiger Mov"), which operates overseas internships and global training programs, is pleased to announce a business alliance in the overseas education program sector with Ryugaku Journal Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Kenichi Yokoyama), which operates study abroad businesses.
Through this partnership, Tiger Mov's expertise in designing and operating "inquiry-based and practical" overseas programs, cultivated over the years, will be combined with Ryugaku Journal's recruitment, sales, and travel support functions to create new overseas educational opportunities that go beyond language acquisition.
Starting from the summer holidays of 2026, joint programs will commence in three regions: Vietnam, Finland/Estonia, and Hawaii, aiming to systematize overseas educational opportunities for a wide range of participants, from young people to working adults.
Background of the Partnership
In recent years, while the study abroad market has matured and competition has intensified, there has been a growing interest in "practical" and "inquiry-based" programs that go beyond language acquisition.
Particularly among younger generations, there is an increasing need to engage with careers and social issues early on, a demand that traditional language-focused models alone cannot fully meet.
Tiger Mov has, until now, provided opportunities to embody "Learning by Doing" through practical programs in various countries around the world.
On the other hand, Ryugaku Journal has built a marketing foundation for study abroad candidates, a school network, and trust from parents over many years.
This partnership is a challenge to update the overseas education market itself by combining the ability to "create" programs with a reliable sales and support system to "deliver" them.
Details of the Initiative
Starting from the summer holidays of 2026, practical and inquiry-based overseas programs will be jointly developed in three regions: Vietnam, Finland/Estonia, and Hawaii.
Tiger Mov will be responsible for program design and local operation, while Ryugaku Journal will handle recruitment, sales, and travel support, providing consistent support to participants.
This initiative is not merely an addition of products, but an attempt to expand overseas education options from a study abroad model aimed at language acquisition to practical experiences connected to society.
Both companies will conduct joint verification through these programs, aiming to build a medium- to long-term overseas education model.
"Future Developments"
・Sales to begin in mid-March
・First programs scheduled for summer (July-August)

CEO Eriko Kikuchi
I am very encouraged to be able to work with Ryugaku Journal.
Tiger Mov has supported young people's challenges through "practical" overseas programs, where they dive into uncertain environments and learn while facing society.
Under the mission of "Moving lives with unknown power," we continue to create educational opportunities that connect cross-border experiences not just as mere experiences, but to subsequent careers and ways of life.
This partnership is a significant step towards delivering the practical programs we have cultivated to more young people with a desire to challenge themselves.
By combining our programs with Ryugaku Journal's long-established sales and support system, we believe we can offer new options for overseas experiences that go beyond language acquisition.
Our role is not just for going abroad to be the goal itself, but to provide experiences that connect with society and update one's perspective and values.
I strongly hope that this initiative will be a "turning point in life" for the young people who will lead the next era.
Comments from Ryugaku Journal
We are very pleased to plan new tours with Tiger Mov this time.
Ryugaku Journal has planned and implemented various experiential tours, mainly focused on language acquisition. This time, we have prepared three programs tailored to different demographics: "Regenerative: Beyond Regeneration - A Program to Consider Environment and Tourism in Hawaii" for junior and senior high school students, "Short-term Practical Business Internship in Vietnam" for university students, and "Discovering Your True Self and Society in Northern Europe: Tallinn, Estonia & Helsinki, Finland" for adults aged 18 and over, all emphasizing local experiences.
Common to all these tours is the final objective of "inquiry-based learning," where participants exchange opinions based on "local experiences" through volunteer activities, local interviews, visits, and hands-on experiences, then "think, summarize, and present their findings."
Studying abroad is about living locally and gaining various learnings such as culture, customs, and environment through interaction with people, not just language. By exchanging opinions with participants who have had similar experiences, new perspectives can be gained, viewpoints can be elevated, and by summarizing and presenting them, they can remain deeply as personal achievements. We believe this will be a learning opportunity unique to group tours.
We are looking forward to hearing the participants' impressions.
