Inspired by the original "Bird on a Rock" brooch created by Jean Schlumberger in 1965, this collection, reinterpreted under the creative vision of Tiffany's Senior Vice President and Chief Artistic Officer Nathalie Verdeille, elevates the brand's iconic motif to new expressions. The new fine jewelry features figurative bird motifs adorned with details inspired by archival works, as well as the "Wings" fine jewelry that abstractly expresses the theme of flight, and the new high jewelry collection "Feathers."

For over half a century, "Bird on a Rock" has symbolized joy, hope, and infinite possibilities. The playful yet sophisticated design embodies imagination and a spirit of adventure, reflecting Tiffany's unique innovative design and exceptional craftsmanship. In 1965, Jean Schlumberger created "Bird on a Rock" inspired by a yellow parrot he encountered during his travels in Asia and the Caribbean. One of the early pieces was a brooch featuring a bird rendered in yellow and white diamonds atop a cabochon lapis lazuli, which quickly became his signature creation. Over the decades, "Bird on a Rock" evolved into a Tiffany icon, becoming globally recognized in 1995 as the design adorning the legendary "Tiffany Diamond." Today, this motif continues to create new expressions befitting the modern era, carrying forward Jean Schlumberger's visionary legacy.

The new "Bird on a Rock by Tiffany" is crafted from 18K yellow gold, hand-sculpted and meticulously polished one by one. The three-dimensional bird, finished to perfection, radiates a powerful brilliance reminiscent of solar flares. Delicate chevron patterns are meticulously engraved on the tips of the wings, body, and neck, further enhancing the three-dimensional effect. Furthermore, diamonds of varying sizes are hand-set in an organic arrangement, imbuing the bird's body and head with rich sparkle and dynamism. The new pendants and earrings are works that symbolize Tiffany's exceptional craftsmanship, merging expressive forms with innovative design.

The collection also introduces new "Bird on a Rock by Tiffany Wings" that abstractly express the symbolic meaning of flight. As an homage to Jean Schlumberger's masterful craftsmanship of combining multiple metals in a single piece, the new "Wings" feature alternating wings of 18K gold and platinum. Each wing is crafted individually, with three feathers naturally connecting to the adjacent wing, creating an impressive sense of volume and dynamism. The platinum wings feature three diamonds of different sizes set in a channel setting without prongs or beads, maximizing the diamonds' inherent brilliance while highlighting their elegant silhouette. The new additions include narrow necklaces, rings, drop earrings, bracelets, and pendants, as well as three types of metal-only rings crafted in 18K yellow gold, rose gold, or platinum, accentuating the beautiful contours of the wings.
