(Headquarters: Kokurakita-ku, Kitakyushu; President: Kei Matsumoto)—a historic department store that celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2025—is launching a limited-time and limited-quantity gift collection.

This project features 'Takumi no Shizuku: Luxury Soup Collection,' a premium soup gift set personally developed from scratch by Takahito Nishimura, the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of YS Food and a chef featured in the Michelin Guide. Pre-orders will start on the Izutsuya Online Shop on Friday, May 29, 2026, followed by sales at YS Food's EC site and Izutsuya retail stores.

■ Background: Gifts to Support Summer Vitality
This project was born from the desire to provide proper nutrition during peak summer periods when record-breaking heat often suppresses appetite. The collection offers 'Hot' versions to soothe bodies cooled by air conditioning and 'Cold' versions to cool down from the heat. We bring this special gift to help people stay healthy this summer through our collaboration with Izutsuya.

1. Developed Entirely by Michelin Chef Takahito Nishimura: A lineup of eight varieties where every detail, from the layering of scents to the aftertaste, is meticulously calculated. Chef Nishimura's culinary philosophy is concentrated in each bowl.
2. Innovative 'Dual-Temperature' Potages: The Pumpkin, Corn, and Green Pea varieties are designed for both hot and cold consumption. Heating them highlights the sweetness of the ingredients, while chilling them offers a smooth, dessert-like experience.
3. Pure Flavor Extraction Without Compromise: Carefully selected ingredients are slowly simmered to lock in clear, pure taste without impurities. To maintain handmade quality, only 150 sets will be available at Izutsuya, with a small quantity also at YS Food's online store, 'Yamagoya kara no Okurimono.'
