About ComoNe Market #03
This is ComoNe's quarterly fair.
It offers a program where diverse visitors, from children to researchers, creators, and local residents, can mingle and experience "future co-creation" throughout the day.
The main features of this "ComoNe Market #03" are as follows:

ComoNe Program #02 -Hello Human!- Exhibition Start & Cross-talk "What is the 'Essence of Humanity' from Androids and Buddhism?"
The "ComoNe Program" is a program where everyone gathered at ComoNe, involving citizens, researchers, and creators, explores together. From April 2026, a new theme, "ComoNe Program #02 -Hello Human!-" will be held. To deepen this theme, a cross-talk will be held with two guests to coincide with the start of the new exhibition.
Kohei Ogawa, Associate Professor at Nagoya University Graduate School of Engineering, who researches robots and AI, including androids, and is the theme owner of "Hello Human!", will join Yoshiki Ukai, a monk from Gokurakuji Temple in Kyoto, to unravel what kind of beings we humans are and what constitutes "humanity."

Kohei Ogawa (Associate Professor, Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University)
Completed his doctoral program in Systems Information Science at Future University Hakodate in 2010, earning a Ph.D. in Systems Information Science. From 2008, he was a researcher at ATR Intelligent Robotics and Communication Laboratories, from 2012, an assistant professor at Osaka University Graduate School of Engineering Science, and from 2016, a lecturer at the same university, before becoming an associate professor at Nagoya University Graduate School of Engineering in 2019. He researches human-artifact interaction based on robot and AI technology. In parallel with his research activities, he also presents art works using robots, winning awards such as the Award of Excellence at Ars Electronica and the Japan Media Arts Festival Art Division. He also focuses on research activities in the field of HAI/HRI (Human Agent/Robot Interaction) and has presented at prominent international conferences including TED.
Yoshiki Ukai (Monk / Gokurakuji Temple, Kyoto)
Born in 1986 at Gokurakuji Temple in Uradera-cho, Kyoto. Resides in Kyoto. After working as a web writer in Tokyo and a bookseller in Kyoto, he has served as a monk at Gokurakuji Temple and Nenbutsuji Temple in Miyamaki, Kyotanabe City since 2015. His Buddhist name is Judo. He explores ways for people to engage with Buddhism in modern times, organizing events at temples and seeking opportunities for Buddhist practice in urban areas. Currently, he is active in various fields, including being an MC for the podcast program "Ayumi Uesaka's 'Don't Live More Carefully Than Me'," ambient nenbutsu sessions, Yoru Kissa Dobon, and other music and writing activities.
Nenone Program #03 Activity Presentations
The "Nenone Program" is a program where participants publicly solicit research themes and engage in activities at ComoNe for three months.
In its third term, 17 projects are active. Diverse explorations will gather in one place, including cookies expressing someone's emotions or memories, a new music experience combining electronic organ and VR, and a letter project that gently connects the loneliness of child-rearing. Experiential Content of ComoNe Market #03
Play on the rooftop lawn plaza "GREEN TERRACE"
The rooftop lawn plaza "GREEN TERRACE" has been open to the public since March 25. After enjoying various activities at ComoNe, you can exercise and play on the rooftop, bring food for a break, or spend time as you wish. On the day, you can purchase meals from local food trucks on B1F, and bringing them to the rooftop is allowed.

ComoNe Academia Special Edition "How 'Good' and 'Bad' are Decided in the Heart - Parenting from Moral Dilemmas -"
ComoNe Academia is an educational program for the next generation based on university research. This time, a dialogue-based workshop will be held for parents raising children, to consider how "good" and "bad" are judged in a child's heart.

Make a Washi-dyed Book Cover
A very popular washi dyeing workshop by Aya Osuga, a tie-dyeing artisan of Arimatsu-Narumi Shibori. You can choose your favorite colors, dye them, and create your own original notebook.

ComoNe Tour SPECIAL
The "ComoNe Tour" guides you through the facility, introducing its features, activities, and programs. In addition to the regular version that guides you through the facility, there are also a "Kids Edition" for children to enjoy ComoNe from their perspective, and a "Nenone Program Edition" that introduces activities and events. Both first-time visitors and repeat participants can discover a new ComoNe.

ComoNe is a co-creation facility established by the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System within the Nagoya University campus.
ComoNe was conceived as a new co-creation hub aiming to embody the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System's philosophy of "Make New Standards for The Public," opening research outcomes and educational resources to society as public assets.
The name "Common Nexus" signifies a place where people from various fields and generations interact, giving birth to knowledge and value.
