Brazilian singer-songwriter and producer Maria Luiza Jobim has released her third solo album, 'Rosa no Céu'. As the daughter of Bossa Nova master Antonio Carlos Jobim, Maria Luiza follows up her previous works 'Casa Branca' (2019) and 'Azul' (2023) with this project, which explores the theme of 'a momentary pink in the sky,' capturing fleeting yet beautiful emotional moments.
The title track, 'Rosa no Céu,' was inspired by the pale pink sunset that appears in the sky of Lisbon, Portugal, where she currently resides. Marcelo Camelo, known as the central figure of the iconic Brazilian band Los Hermanos, participated in the production as a producer.
The eight tracks on the album carefully pick up on small emotions born from fragments of daily life, such as love, memories, and encounters while traveling, all colored with soft strings and floating sounds. Through songs like 'Portugal,' she continues to deepen her musical identity.
