Takeru Funaki, a prominent member of the Hokkaido-based boys group NORD, has officially launched his solo project. On May 30, 2026, he released his debut EP, 'SUPERNOVA,' a six-track collection characterized by heavy loud rock and unique lyrical depth.

The EP kicks into high gear with M1 'Slave,' leading into the title track M2 'SUPERNOVA,' an aggressive number that showcases his ambition through powerful sound and lyrics. Tracks from M3 'Sike!' onward demonstrate his versatile musicality, concluding with M6 'Raimei' (Thunder), which delivers a visceral vocal performance. This release serves as a monumental milestone for his professional music career.

His first solo concert is scheduled for June 6, 2026, at Sapporo cube garden. Additionally, to commemorate NORD's 10th anniversary, a special group concert will be held on August 8, 2026, at the Sapporo Education and Culture Hall.
