Global soul singer Nao Yoshioka released her collaboration track 'Safe Place' with Chicago-based poet and singer Jamila Woods on May 29. The song is centered on the theme of healing from loneliness and becoming one's own 'safe place.' It was produced by Peter CottonTale, known for his work on Chance The Rapper's Grammy-winning album. Nao Yoshioka, who found comfort in Jamila Woods' music during a difficult time, pursued this collaboration. A world tour is also scheduled for October 2026, with stops in Fukuoka, Tokyo, Osaka, and Hokkaido.
