Up-and-coming solo artist Kunue Tsujii, who performed at SONICMANIA, releases new digital single '27 Club'

Kunue Tsujii, an up-and-coming solo artist who won the audition 'Derenno!? Summersonic!?' for a spot at 'SUMMER SONIC' in 2025 and successfully performed at SONICMANIA in August, will digitally release a new song '27 Club' on Wednesday, April 8th.

'The 27 Club' is a term referring to artists who passed away at the age of 27 while leaving a major impact on music history.

Using this concept as a motif, the new track departs from the electro approach of her previous work 'pulse wave'. Based on a distorted alternative rock sound, it was produced around the 23-year-old Tsujii's feelings of being unable to specifically imagine the future and anxieties about a life that might remain unchanged from the present.

Yoshinori Sunahara is in charge of mastering, continuing from her previous work.

Furthermore, in the same week of the release, a self-produced event 'Senitai' (Transition Zone) vol.2 will be held at Ebisu KATA (LIQUIDROOM 2F) on Saturday, April 11th.

This event is the second installment following the first one held at Shimokitazawa THREE last December. Sota Aoyagi and rilium will perform as guest acts this time.
