Tokyo University of Health Care to Hold Public Course 'Nursing DX Practice Course [Introductory Edition]' on July 4-5, Systematically Learning Nursing DX

Tokyo University of Health Care (Main office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Toshiaki Tamura; President: Shuji Kameyama), operated by the educational corporation Aoba Gakuen, will hold a public course, 'Nursing DX Practice Course [Introductory Edition],' for two days on Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, 2026. The first day will be held online, and the second day will be in-person at the Gotanda Campus of Tokyo University of Health Care. The course is intended for nursing management, such as head nurses and managers, future management candidates, DX promotion leaders, and hospital administrative staff. The tuition fee is 28,000 yen, with a discounted price of 25,000 yen for graduates and postgraduates of Tokyo University of Health Care. The capacity is 100 people on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tokyo University of Health Care has been actively promoting education and research focusing on the intersection of medicine, nursing, and digital technology, having been selected for subsidiary projects by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) on themes like 'Medical DX' and 'Industrial DX.' This course extends the university's proud DX expertise to the public as a program for working adults, positioning it as an opportunity to systematically learn everything from the basics of Nursing DX to implementation perspectives.

This course aims for participants to consider the next steps for their own facilities through AI, IoT, business process improvement, evaluation, information ethics, and information security. The course content includes the significance of Nursing DX, implementation case studies of smart hospitals, IoT utilization in monitoring improvement, AI utilization for reducing documentation time, design and evaluation of improvement activities, and information ethics/information security. The target audience is expanded to include not only the nursing department but also hospital administrative staff from medical affairs, corporate planning, information systems, and general affairs, creating a venue to share a hospital-wide perspective on promoting DX.
