On May 10 and 11, 2026, the world-renowned natural wine fair, RAW WINE TOKYO 2026, was held at the Tokyo Distribution Center in Ota Ward, Tokyo. This third edition of the event in Japan brought together producers from around the world who are dedicated to high-quality, clean farming practices, reflecting the global expansion of the natural wine movement. A total of 69 producers from both Japan and abroad participated, drawing over 2,200 attendees over the two days. This year, the event expanded beyond wine to include producers of sake, shochu, beer, juice, and cider, allowing visitors to explore Japan's unique fermentation culture. Additionally, the new 'PINO' glass, co-developed by SPIEGELAU and Takahiko Soga of Domaine Takahiko, was unveiled to significant interest. Isabelle Legeron MW, founder of RAW WINE, described the Japanese market as 'one of the most mature natural wine markets in the world.' The event has already confirmed its return to Tokyo in 2027.
