Toyota Financial Services Corporation (Nagoya City, President: Hiroyoshi Korosue, hereinafter "TFS") will introduce a "Time-Limited Ticket Function" on its travel app "my route (My Route)" that allows for the sale of digital tickets usable only during specific time periods.

This function will enable transportation operators to offer flexible pricing and services, while users can select cost-effective and convenient tickets that fit their schedules.

＜Tickets with the New Function (2 types)＞

・Miyazaki Kotsu "Weekday Hiru Pass"

A ticket allowing unlimited rides on Miyazaki Kotsu route buses, valid only between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays.

(Bus arrival time between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM)

・Saibi Jidosha "Saibi Bus Weekday Free Pass"

A ticket allowing unlimited rides on Saibi Jidosha's general route buses operating in the central Sasebo city area, valid only after 10:00 AM on weekdays.

(Bus arrival time after 10:00 AM)

Purpose of Introduction

TFS aims to create the following values through the promotion of digital tickets:

① Flexible Time Settings

It is possible to set detailed start and end times for the ticket, not just the usage period. For example, setting it as "Unlimited rides between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays" enhances user convenience.

② Supports Smooth Ticket Inspection with "Screen Transitions" Based on Status

The ticket screen displays its status in real-time, from "Pre-time" before use, to "Active Time" during use, "Lost Time" after expiration, and "Usage End." The elapsed time is also indicated numerically (+/-), allowing conductors to instantly determine validity.

③ Flexible Handling of Irregularities such as Delays

Flexible operations are possible according to different criteria set by operators, such as "Valid only if boarding time is within the period" or "Valid if either boarding or alighting is within the period," and considering public transport delays.
